Design
Clare Hamman is a designer and producer whose training as an architect informs her work in design, consultancy, film and print. She uses a research-driven approach to uncover the context and understand the people at the centre of every project, synthesising this into visually-informed narratives.
Produce
Working with academics, architects and artists, Clare uses her skills as a designer, producer and consultant to create strategies suited to each project. By understanding the motivation behind any idea, she helps to realise a project’s potential, whether that’s through project management of an archives and its dissemination, producing films, or designing and creating books and websites. Through her work as a film maker and producer, she has specialised in making archive-driven, character-focused documentaries.
Strategy
Clare’s unique experience has led to some specific consulting projects, creating strategies which suit the needs of the client. Grounded in research to understand the history, context and potentials of any subject, she utilises her range of creative disciplines to craft narratives and assist arts organisations to reframe their specialities to target and attract audiences.
